Accountant Career Branches & Reward Traits

Sims 4 Accountant Career (Branches & Reward Traits)

This is a rabbithole accounting career with two branches, Tax Accounting and Forensic Accounting. Completing either branch will result in a unique reward trait. Tax Accounting reaps more financial rewards, but Forensic Accounting helps your fellow man by bringing criminals to justice, so you have to choose your particular motivation for pursuing accounting in the first place.

I tried to vary the skills required for promotion more than they generally do in the base game, so that it’s a little more challenging and realistic. I’m still fine-tuning the mod, so feedback is welcome. You will need Scumbumbo’s XML injector in order for the mod to work properly.

*Spoiler Alert* The reward trait explanations are as follows: upon completing the Tax Accounting branch you’ll receive Midas Touch, which gives a permanent increase to work performance gain so you can keep getting lots of raises or you can carry this over to a new career entirely. You’ll also have the chance for random confident moodlets. For the Forensics Accounting branch, you’ll receive Altruistic. It increases the rate of friendly relationship building and has unique social interactions.

I hope you enjoy this career. Happy simming!

When you were a kid and someone asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up, your answer most likely wasn’t, “I want to be an accountant.” Glamorous, it is not, but it provides a valuable service and the pay gets simply outrageous. (5 levels)
Level 1: Office Assistant
Description:
Want to make the big bucks? Well, you gotta start at the bottom, nowhere near the money. If you want to some day handle the big bills, you first need to learn how to handle the phone and the office computer.
Information: Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri — Hours: 9:00 – 17:00 (8 hours) — Salary: ﹩18
Level 2: Office Manager

Being manager means doing the same job plus making sure everyone else does THEIR jobs. It can be very frustrating to juggle all the office drama, so make sure to take some time out for yourself while still building the skills you need to get you out of this job!

Level 3: Junior Accountant

Finally, a chance to actually touch the bills! Well, metaphorically speaking anyway. It’s all digital these days, which is why knowing your way around a computer would be very beneficial to your chances of moving forward. You must also begin sharpening your mind for the mental gymnastics ahead of you in this career. (Have you ever read tax law? Better than a sleeping pill!)

Level 4: Accountant

Information: Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri — Hours: 10:00 – 19:00 (9 hours) — Salary: ﹩45
Level 5: Senior Accountant
Description:
The work is the same, but there’s definitely a lot more of it than before. When working these long hours, be sure to not neglect your health. Even though you’re behind a desk all day, the stress can take a physical toll, so you need to be somewhat in shape to stay competitive.
