Sims 4 Community Museum – Deeds Iron Foundry, NOLA
Community Museum – Deeds Iron Foundry, NOLA
When you read the blurb on Foundry Cove it says something about an active railroad. I couldn’t find a railroad or a foundry in the area, so decided to make an old foundry based on the Leeds Iron Foundry in NOLA. The Leeds Iron Foundry is now a museum and houses The Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans. I thought my version of Willow Creek needed a railroad museum for this "active" railroad that is mentioned. Oh and a foundry is a factory for casting metal. They made stuff for railroads, boats, pots and pans, cast iron railing etc. Anyway, I learned something new – I now know what a foundry is!
Built on Bargain Bend lot. Not a lot of photos for this foundry but I got on street view of Google to help me build the outside. Used MOO. No CC used.

Name: Deeds Iron Foundry
Description: Based on Leeds Iron Foundry in NOLA, because Foundry Cove needed a foundry or the name didn’t make sense. The foundry is now a railroad and iron-workings museum. It even has a replica steam paddleboat! Has historic artwork and eatery. Ugly old factory turned into a modern museum the whole sim family can enjoy.
